Asher Straus is a 2027 OF/RHP/1B with a 6-1 150 lb. frame from Seattle, WA who attends West Seattle. Large, athletic frame with long limbs and a lean build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.66 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields the ball out front to the side, remains on target with throws and shows one hop accuracy, some present strength and remains consistent with actions. Also pitched, shorter arm action through the backside working up to an over-the-top slot; low spin rates on fastball and topped out at 73 mph, pitched to contact and flashed a curveball at 54 mph. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even base and a lower hand set with a high back elbow; utilizes a hover leg lift trigger for timing. Handsy stroke with a full path through the zone, strength in hands and able to impact when leveraged out front, bat speed stands out and shows best contact to the middle of the field.
