Justin Bolt is a 2024 C/1B/OF with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Riverdale, NJ who attends Pompton Lakes. Medium, broader frame with present lower half strength and room to physically mature. Primary catcher with segmented catch-and-throw movements; receives from a slightly side-saddled stance with soft hands and elongated mid-line transfer. Gains ground out of the crouch with deliberate footwork and worked into a longer arm action to throw. Recorded fairly accurate throws up to 64 mph from behind the plate during drills. Will continue to improve with proper mechanical adjustments and additional strength. Left-handed hitter that hits from a narrow, open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and hover trigger. Incorporates slight drift into contact and exhibits some quickness to his hands. Middle-of-the field approach with hands driven swing and flatter swing plane. Displayed developing feel for the barrel that will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional refinements of his lower front side. Flashed some impact through the middle-of-the field when on-time and in-sync.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
