Secondary right-handed pitcher that works from the middle of the rubber and uses a swinging, chest high leg kick. He does a nice job of working down the mound and lands in line with the plate. He features a longer arm action with a plunge in the back and fires from a 3/4 arm slot. He showed nice looseness in his shoulder and was able to fill the zone up. He worked his fastball to both sides of the plate well. His best off speed pitch was his changeup that featured nice fade that he was able to locate down in the zone. He also has a curveball that has downer action. Also worked out in the outfield, showing solid footwork and confidence. He works through the ball well and is able to release it quickly and accurately. Right-handed hitter that starts in an upright stance with his weight pushed back. He showed solid hand speed through the zone that will lead to increased power as he continues to mature and add muscle.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
