Callen Espinoza is a 2027 C/RHP, 1B, 2B with a 5-8 130 lb. frame from Beloit, WI who attends Beloit Memorial. Defensively, he showed sound fundamentals behind the dish with quality in game receiving skills. The arm strength is fine for the age but easy to project more velocity being added in the coming year. At the dish, the body is solid with slightly open stance and slight leg lift. The load is limited but creates some leverage through the middle of the field. The at-bats were highly competitive in-game which is always a pleasant surprise for someone with many years of refinement left in the tank. On the mound, He operates with side step to a belt high lift. He showed to be an in line worker to the dish with medium arm action and release out of a high slot. The arm stroke is fluid but could benefit from more drive in the lower half. 8.09 60-yard. Outstanding student. Selected to the Top Prospect list.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
