Jordan Alvarado is a 2028 C/RHP/SS with a 5-3 130 lb. frame from El Paso, TX who attends Pebble Hills. Smaller compact build. Right handed hitter, swings hard with a long and extended swing and a one-handed finish, aggressive swing approach that's looking to drive the ball. 8.33 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has a short and quick exchange and release on his throws, can gain ground with his lower half better, makes very accurate throws and repeats his fundamentals. Also worked out in the infield and showed good footwork and lower half actions, plays with energy at both positions. Took a turn on the mound, works from a high 3/4's arm slot with a short stride down the mound, tends to fall off to the first base side on release. Fastball topped out at 65 mph with some cutting life at times, also threw a soft curveball. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
