Dyson Grant is a 2027 C/OF with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Mission Viejo, CA who attends Capistrano Valley. Compact frame with present strength. Ran a 7.36 in the sixty yard dash. Primary catcher, short arm action with directional footwork, gains ground towards second base, made on line accurate throws, popped a 2.05 in drill work. Also worked out in the infield with throws up to 82 mph across the diamond. Left handed hitter, wide base with a high hand set and a high back elbow, heel lift trigger with a well timed weight shift into contact, short hand load keeps him on time often, accurate with the barrel, clears the hips well and can pull the baseball with authority, bat to ball skills stand out.
