Ethan McMasters is a 2023 RHP/2B with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Westville, IL who attends Westville. Smaller medium size frame. Ran a 7.37 60-yard dash. Primary RHP with an above the belt leg kick, medium stride length, sits on the backside and shows a high three-quarter arm slot. Fastball was up to 81 with some carry through the top of the zone. Maintained arm speed on the curve which had 12-6 shape out of the same slot as the fastball. Showed command and some pitch-ability with both. Showed a patient approach in the infield with decent lateral quickness to his right. Developing glove work and above average arm strength. At the plate gets his barrel on plane, rotates and uses the ground well. Consistently hit hard barreled up line drives. Great student.
