Michael Mogannam is a 2025 SS with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from San Jose, CA who attends Leigh. Features a lean build with some strength present. Ran a 7.32 60-yard dash. Showcased quality actions during infield and outfield workouts. Caught the ball cleanly in the outfield. Still developing footwork through the catch point. Short arm action produced accurate throws with a fair amount of carry. Footwork and arm play best on the infield. Showcased the ability to move well in both directions with sound actions into throws. Solid glove actions caught the ball cleanly throughout. Short arm action leads to quick release. Generates solid carry across the diamond, throwing 74 mph during infield workouts. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an open stance with a moderate leg kick timing mechanism. Showed good feel for the barrel throughout batting practice. Approach is geared toward the pullside. Lofted path and quality strength help generate solid power in that direction. Still developing fluidity within the swing, but has a solid foundation in the box. Good student. Named to the 13u/14u Spring Southwest Showcase.
