Alex Preap is a 2028 2B/3B with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Stockton, CA who attends Tokay. Features a smaller lean build with present athleticism and plenty of room/time to add strength/size. Ran a solid 7.38 60-yd dash. In the INF, showed feet that get around the ball decently well. Lacked urgency at times. Exhibited softness to his hands with a clean funnel/exchange. Used a shorter arm action that showed avg. strength with accuracy across. At the plate, he sits in a balanced slightly open stance. Uses a simple forward stride while his loose lands load the barrel into a slight barrel tip. Some inconsistenty in timing but flashed present hand/barrel quickness that showed with some solid post-impact results. Showed more of a pulllside approach throughout his round. Named to Top Prospects List.
