Fernandez is a 6'0" RHP who comes up short of MLB or highest level college talent standards. He actually looked pretty good swinging the bat during workouts. On the mound he showed a quick arm and decent arm strength. His velocity was high 70s to 80 with a good spinning curveball 66-70. Also saw what looked like a low 70s slider. His arm slot fluctuated between 3/4 and high 3/4 depending on the pitch. Fernandez needs to find the right college program that will allow him to develop.
