Gavin Stanton is a 2026 RHP/MIF, OF with a 5-11 143 lb. frame from Maitland, FL who attends Winter Park. A slender build with some length to the frame. Ran a 7.78 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher. Simple mechanics working down the slope. Has a knee-to-chest leg lift, and he gradually builds his move down the mound. Super short stride and has a longer arm stroke with a three-quarters release. Fastball was up to 79 mph with sinking depth arm-side. Lived in the lower half of the zone during his outing. Showed a breaking ball with 11/5 shape to it. Worked the mid-60s with good depth to it. Induced a lot of weaker groundball contact. A right-handed hitter with the bat head resting on the shoulder as he sets up. He has an inward toe-tap into his stride. Gets the barrel on it with some loft in the swing as he works through the zone. Also worked out as a shortstop. He works to the ball and has a longer release on the throws to first. Longer arm stroke with some height to throw 74 mph across the diamond. Gets to it and funnels into the throws with intent. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
