Logan Lafferty is a 2027 SS/RHP, C, 2B, MIF, IF, OF with a 5-10 135 lb. frame from Fairhaven, MA who attends Tabor Academy. Young, square shouldered frame with a lean build and room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.79 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, fields the ball out front with some bend at waist, plays back on the ball, deliberate tempo to actions, softness to hands with a full arm action through the back. Also pitched, side step into a tucked leg lift up to belt, similar full arm action working to a three-quarters release point, long stride down the mound with some extension out front. Fastball topped out at 67 mph, repeats mechanics, pitched to contact and mixed an 11-5 shaped curveball with short depth up to 60 mph. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, employs a contact oriented approach at the plate. Longer swing path through the zone, keeps hands inside the ball, shows ability to work to the opposite field, can create more extension out front in swing. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
