Andres Guzman is a 2026 OF/1B with a 5-6 150 lb. frame from Elk Grove, CA who attends Laguna Creek. Features a smaller build with room to add. Ran a 7.44 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder. Showcased an aggressive approach throughout defensive workouts. Still developing the ability to maintain body control on a consistent basis. Would also help improve the glove actions through the catch point. Throws were around the target fairly often. More arm strength should come as the frame continues to fill out. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a closed stance with a narrow base and vertical bat setup. Utilizes a direct bat path through the zone. Approach allows for the opposite field to be used often. Getting the barrel on plane earlier would lead to more consistent contact. Power is still developing as the frame continues to mature. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
