Jacob Harms is a 2026 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Irving, TX who attends Ranchview. Long and lean athletic build with lots of projection remaining. Works from the stretch with a high hand start, full arm action in back with a 3/4's arm slot, drop and drive lower half mechanics, can get out of sync between his arm and lower half at times. Fastball topped out at 87 mph, comes across it and gets some cutting action at times. Threw both a slurve type breaking ball with some depth and a nice fading change up as his secondary pitches. 7.23 runner in the sixty. Has clean actions in the outfield and makes very accurate throws from a lower arm slot, same long and loose arm swing as on the mound. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a low extended hand load, hands/arms driven swing with very limited lower half, contact oriented swing. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
