Matthew Baczor is a 2027 RHP/3B/OF with a 5-7 125 lb. frame from Lebanon, NJ who attends St. John Vianney. Very lean young build. Primary right handed pitcher, starts his delivery with a big rocker step and high leg raise above the best, high front side mechanics, on line arm action with an over the top arm slot. Fastball topped out at 71 mph, did a good job throwing his fastball for strikes and challenging hitters, got some run and sink on his fastball at times. Got some swing and miss on a slow downer curveball when he was on top of it. 7.71 runner in the sixty. Worked out in both the infield and outfield and showed good athleticism and lower half actions at both positions, graded out higher in the infield, rounds the ball well with balanced footwork and some glove quickness fielding the ball, arm works better in the infield with more carry. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base, sinks into his hips to start his swing, arm generated swing with a level swing, slashing mid to opposite field stroke. Good athlete who should keep improving with physical maturity. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
