McCray is a top line outfielder with very good running ability and even better instincts. He gets a great jump on all fly balls and really makes everything look pretty easy out there. He doesn't have the strongest of arms, but his arm will play very well in centerfield. He has a short efficient swing that is real clean and tension free. He creates good bat speed and shows surprising power potential with the wood bat. He's going to hit at the next level. In fact, he can do many things very good. He will steal bases and run down fly balls. He will hit and flash some power. He throws fine and plays hard. If he gets a little stronger as he should, there could be some serious plus mlb tools in there. He will be an interesting kid to follow.
