Diego Torres is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Caguas, PR who attends BYOU Academy. Lean, athletic build with a strong core and lots of length that bode well for physical projection. Ran a 6.98 in the 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, confident charge and quick feet. Athleticism shows with a clean exchange into real strong, on-line throws with carry to the bag. Lots of life to the bag in his release and arm talent is evident. Right-handed hitter, narrow base and open stance with high hand set and high back elbow. Rotates hard, fires the hips and hands with loud contact to the pull side. Big impact strength on display and best barrels can squared to the pull side. Physical tools, good student and named to Top Prospect list.
