Canon Hopper is a 2024 LHP/OF with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Indialantic, FL who attends Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy. Long and lean athletic build with lots of physical projection ahead. Slow to fast delivery, medium length takeaway hides the ball well, high 3/4's arm slot, long stride down the mound, has loose and athletic lower half actions that drive his delivery. Fastball worked up to 85 mph, gets some arm side run down in the zone and good ride up in the zone, locates best to the arm side. Curveball showed some short 1/7 break, change up was a good pitch with arm speed and some fading life. Loose arm with an athletic body and actions, good bet to keep improving as he gets stronger. Very good student. Named to the Florida Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.
