Maxwell Henry is a 2026 RHP/3B, OF with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Broadlands, VA who attends Briar Woods. Recorded a 7.50 second sixty-yard dash time. Medium, compact frame with a high waist and plenty of room to fill out. Primary right-handed pitcher that worked from a full windup delivery with a belt high leg lift, some coil to his hips into balance and medium stride length out to foot strike. Fastball worked in the mid-to-upper 70s for the duration of his outing and topped out at 79 mph from a loose three-quarters arm slot. Developing command of the strike zone that will continue to improve with minor refinements mechanically. Mixed in promising, high spin breaking ball that varied in shape, flashed sharp, late bite at times when thrown with conviction. Developing changeup that displays some fade to it and will continue to improve with additional velocity. Secondary infielder with a fundamentally sound defensive skill set. Fields cleanly out in front, exhibits some lateral range to either side and has the ability to throw on the run. Delivered accurate throws up to 76 mph across the diamond during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a slightly open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and toe-tap trigger. Incorporates rotational lower half mechanics to create some present bat speed. Simple, repeatable stoke with good feel for the barrel and burgeoning power that will continue to expand as he physically matures. Displayed best impact to the middle and pull sides of the field when on-time. Fundamentally sound overall skill set with tons of projection and upside on both sides of the ball. Excellent Student.
