Evan Gaffney is a 2023 1B/3B with a 5-11 235 lb. frame from Seabrook, NH who attends Winnacunnet. Gaffney works from a broad physical frame at 1B, making plays asked of him with accurate throws across the diamond up to 72 mph. He flashed quickness to the turns with sound glove work to pair. On the offensive end, the left handed hitter started from a wider even stance with evident control of the barrel to generate loud contact to the pull side/ middle of field. He displayed strength in the hands with further room to get into the lower half and truly unleash his maximum power potential. Posted an exit velo of 85 mph. Ran a 7.87 sixty yard dash.
