Aidan Taniguchi is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 6-2 178 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends William J Brennan. Long and lean build with some present strength and room for more. Drop and drive mechanics on the mound, long and loose arm action, ball comes out of his hand well. Primary fastball pitcher, worked up to 82 mph with good late hard sinking action at times, nice heavy life when he located the pitch. Flashed a change up that had good arm speed and some fading action that he could throw more. Didn't throw a breaking ball. 6.85 runner in the sixty. Playd the outfield when not on the mound. Right handed hitter, has a big hanging front leg load and a long and extended swing, has some raw bat speed and the ball comes off the barrel well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
