Reid Gantenbein-Puchi is a 2027 RHP/OF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Gilbert, AZ who attends Williams Field. Big and strong build for his age. Works from a slow paced and low effort delivery, works quickly and efficiently, mostly a mid 3/4's slot, will get higher on his fastball release at times. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, has been up to 83-84 mph often this summer at PG events, gets nice sinking action and creates ground ball contact. Throws a slurve type curveball for his breaking ball, gets under it from a lower slot at times and will leave it mid-plate, curveball improved the more he used it. Developing change up. 8.51 runner in the sixty. Plays the outfield when not on the mound. Right handed hitter who made solid mid field line drive contact when he got the barrel out on time. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
