Dante Caridi is a 2027 C/MIF, IF, OF with a 5-8 175 lb. frame from Bradenton, FL who attends IMG Academy. Works from a medium frame with physical strength present. At first base, stays fairly light on the feet and low to the ground, showcased quick glove actions with some lateral range, got rid of the ball quickly, delivered accurate throws, recorded arm strength up to 74 mph across the diamond. From the outfield, attacked the baseball with urgency, utilized a compact operation and release, kept the throws online, recorded arm strength up to 75 mph. Right-handed hitter, starts with a slightly open base, utilizes a big leg lift trigger, shifts the weight onto the front-side at impact, generates some bat speed, produced hard contact to the middle of the field, recorded an exit velocity of 88 mph. Ran a 7.87 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student. Named to the 13u/14u Mid-Atlantic Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
