Christian Young is a 2027 IF/RHP with a 5-6 125 lb. frame from Metter, GA who attends Metter. Recorded a 9.39 second 60-yard dash time. Primary infielder with a young frame and slender build. Fields the ball deep with a clean gather to exchange and developing arm strength on throws across the diamond at 56 mph. Deliberate approach working in the outfield with gather to the side and short arm stroke with uphill release at 57 mph on the throws to the bases. Secondary right-handed pitcher using the lower half to get down the slope with fastball up to 62 mph (1520 RPM). Lands with a closed fort side from short side step and belt high lift with breaking ball at 54 mph (1225 RPM). Switch-hitter in the box with similar setups from both sides. Slightly open front side with high back elbow slot and linear barrel path through the zone. More impact from the right side of the plate to the pull side with more middle to opposite field approach from the left side of the plate.
