Leandro Hernandez is a 2025 OF/3B with a 6-2 182 lb. frame from Hialeah Gardens, FL who attends Doral Academy Charter. Tall, athletic build with strength throughout and more to project on. Good runner, ran a 6.85 60-yard dash. Right-handed hitter, square slightly open stance with high hands and a high back elbow. Knee lift trigger stride, hands stay high in the load, flashed middle of the field impact, inside out barrel path which led to hard hit liners to the opposite field. Ball comes off the barrel well, recorded an exit velocity of 84 mph. Primary outfield, choppy footwork on the charge, breaks down and fields the ball with one hand on the side of the body, big crowhop and gathers ground, long arm swing to a high release. Easy arm speed and ball comes out of the hand well, recorded throws up to 89 mph. Great student. Named to WWBA Workout Showcase (Sat) Top Prospect List.
