Ramos is a extremely interesting RHP prospect with a tall lanky body. He already throws 90 or better and he should easily end up in the low to mid 90s range. He has a lot of room on his frame to add weight and strength. He showed lots of 90s in Ft Myers and a couple different breaking balls that looked extra promising. Also showed a pretty good 80 mph changeup that could end up being a plus pitch. His arm works great, long and loose with good whipping action. He struggled with command in Ft Myers and it's all due to some mechanical problems. His arm slot and release point are not consistent. He opens up a bit early and the result of his whip like arm coming through gets him off balance. He does not drag his arm behind, but there is a race going on between his arm and his stride foot. All in all, Ramos is a big time prospect with a great high ceiling. He needs to get with professional pitching coaches or highest level college coaches ASAP. He has a special arm and the perfect body.
