Andrew Mason is a 2024 MIF/RHP with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Anderson. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. 6.75 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, moves well through the ball with good routes and an easy rhythm to him, fields the ball cleanly with good glove work, has some arm speed and a quick and clean release with some carry on his throws, showed his range with a great running catch while playing second base. Right handed hitter, has a big leg raise load that can leave him off time, short hands drive swing, gets in and out of the zone quickly and tends to cut off his swing, best contact to the opposite field. Also pitched and looked very good in a short outing on the mound, fastball topped out at 83 mph, showed a swing and miss curveball with good power and a sharp biting break. Good athlete who just needs to improve his swing and strength at the plate. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
