Hicks is an athletic INF/P with excellent actions and a strong arm. He's a smooth infielder! He would benefit from getting with a real good hitting instructor. He shows bat speed and good hitting potential, but his swing mechanics could improve greatly. He pitched in Ft Myers, throwing close to mid 80s with a decent curveball. If he works on his swing and improving his running times just a little, he'll be a pro shortstop prospect. He's definitely a big time college prospect who could really blossom at that level.
