Brian Belford Jr is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 6-0 140 lb. frame from Fishers, IN who attends Cathedral. Medium frame with slender build; ran 40 yard dash in 5.13 seconds. Hits from even stance, hunched forward, long stride out, doesn't bring lower half with him, lots of head movement throughout swing mechanics, flashed some contact skills, developing impact. Worked out in the outfield, developing feel for fielding actions, interesting arm strength, clocked up to 84 mph on throws. Also pitched, works from stretch, 3/4 slot with short arm stroke, fastball worked 75-78 mph, showed slow curveball with gradual depth. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
