Carson Hamblin is a 2027 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B, MIF, IF, OF, UT with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Lake Zurich, IL who attends Lake Zurich. Medium size athletic frame. Ran a 7.32 60-yard dash. Versatile infielder and outfielder with developing footwork in both spots, athleticism to cover ground and develop range, big effort on throws with developing arm strength. Hit from an upright stance, swings with intent, grooved swings through the zone with some strength to impact the baseball. Made consistent contact and showed the ability to lift and drive the baseball in BP. Three pitch mix on the mound with athletic movements in the delivery and an on-line delivery. Repeats the movements well, located the low 70's fastball and shows two distinctly different breaking balls with both shape and velocity separation.
