Chanz Flores is a 2024 RHP/3B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Vancouver, WA who attends Hudson's Bay. Features a bigger build with strength present. Primary right-handed pitcher. Utilizes a semi-windup delivery into tall and fall mechanics. Stays controlled down the mound. Hides the ball well throughout short arm action into a high 3/4 slot release. Fastball got up to 85 mph with some ride through the zone. Can generate whiffs when elevated. Pairs it with a curveball at 69-71 mph with sharp, downward action. Can create quality bite with 12-6 action when spun well. Threw both offerings for strikes and generated quick outs. Worked out on the infield. Can make the routine play. Range profiles well for third base. Arm strength plays well across the diamond. Threw 82 mph during workouts. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a narrow base stance into a moderate leg kick timing mechanism. Swings on a direct path with good extension out front. Looks to catch balls out front and drive them pullside. Shows good intent throughout the swing. Can drive balls well when in sync. Ran a 7.55 60-yard dash. Very good student. Named to the Southwest Prospect Top Prospect List.
