Jack Reaves is a 2026 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Fayetteville, NC who attends Terry Sanford. Medium frame with bigger build. 8.06 runner in the 60-yard dash. Right-handed hitter with high hands close to the body, generated decent bat speed, worked mostly to the opposite field in the round. Has little drive from the lower half, linear bat path through the zone. Primary left-handed pitcher, hands full over the head delivery, front foot lands closed leading to crossfire deception. Competed on the mound with a quick pace and filled up the zone with a three pitch mix. Fastball up to 70 mph (1623 RPM), curveball with soft downer shape, up to 62 mph (1316 RPM), and had good feel for his changeup, up to 61 mph (1121 RPM). Secondary first baseman, deliberate actions without much bounce off the bag. Fields the ball out front with two hands with stiffness in the lower half, throws across up to 67 mph. Also worked out in the outfield, slow approach on grounders, one hand gather on the side, long exchange to a high three-quarters slot. Carried momentum through throws with accuracy and developing arm strength. Recorded throws up to 68 mph. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
