Ryan Peters is a 2024 RHP/1B with a 6-1 235 lb. frame from Billerica, MA who attends Billerica Memorial. Large, broad frame with present lower half strength and some room to physically mature. Recorded a 8.87 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary right-handed pitcher that worked exclusively from the stretch in this look. Uses a belt high leg lift into balance and drop-and-drive lower half mechanics down the slope. Strike thrower that worked in the mid-to-upper 70s for the majority of his outing and topped out at 80 mph from a compact three-quarters arm slot. Mixed in 11-5 shaped curveball for strikes with both horizontal and vertical tilt to it. Will continue to add more velocity with additional strength and minor mechanical refinements. Secondary first baseman with a developing defensive skill set. Displays some lateral range, fields slightly deep and showed the ability to change arm slots on his throws. Recorded arm strength up to 77 mph across the diamond during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a narrow, slightly open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and small stride into contact. Rotational lower half movements with shorter hand path, stays inside the baseball well and displayed mostly middle-of-the field contact. Showed some ability to turn the barrel on the inner-half when on-time, will continue to expand overall hit tool and power projection with proper swing adjustments. Good Student.
