Jackson Hornick is a 2027 OF/RHP with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Furlong, PA who attends Central Bucks-West. Medium, lean frame with a high waist and plenty of room to physically mature. Primary outfielder with tons of quick twitch athleticism. Aggressive approach into the fielding process, fields cleanly off his front foot and maintains momentum into release. Displayed arm talent by recording arm strength up to 87 mph during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked from a full windup delivery with a high leg lift into balance and good lower half movements down the slope. Incorporates explosive hip torque to generate plenty of present arm speed. Fastball worked in the 79-80 mph range for the majority of his outing and topped out at 81 mph with occasional cut to it. Developing command with the fastball the will continue to improve with minor mechanical refinements, mixed in slurve shaped breaking ball for strikes. Quick, repeatable arm action with more velocity in the tank. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wider base with lower hand set and big hover trigger. Intent based swing with good separation and lower half torque. Displayed plenty of present bat speed and legitimate pullside power potential. Developing feel for the barrel that will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and refinements. Athletic, quick twitch prospect with physical upside remaining. Excellent Student. Named to the 2023 13/14U Mid-Atlantic Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
