Haaken Hovestol is a 2027 C/1B/UT with a 5-9 153 lb. frame from Elkhorn, WI who attends Undecided. Medium frame with a lean projection build. Ran a 7.82 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, clean setup and plays low, lots of quickness to his process to release, transfers well and works through it with good momentum, will produce very good pops with added arm strength. Left-handed hitter, sets up slightly open with high hands and a high back elbow, loose stroke with some feel to leverage already, developing bat speed as a whole but good feel to work the barrel out consistently and turn over impact to the pull side with intent, good extension at times and will project into good pull side impact.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
