2003 World Showcase
Kendall, Price- Kendall doesn’t really look the part of a Major Leaguer, but don’t be fooled. He can play the game. As an infielder, he has outstanding hands, nice smooth and quick actions, and plenty of arm. In fact, his infield actions would rank among the best in HS baseball. He can play SS, but at the pro level he projects at 2B. Has very good instincts, good range, and can really turn two. Kendall runs an MLB average 60, but he looks very much like a plus runner on the bases and in the field. He has good first-step quickness and body control. He’s going to steal bases at the next level. As a hitter, he flashes some wood bat power and has a nice line drive stroke. He looked very good against some of the top pitchers at the World Showcase. Kendall is a potential college All-America type with a possible long pro career. Price Kendall can play the middle of the infield at most any college in the country. He has yet to make a college committment.
