2023 New York Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Daniel DeLibro is a 2027 C/3B with a 6-0 164 lb. frame from Trumbull, CT who attends Fairfield College Preparatory. Solid build with projectable frame, especially for a young athlete who has a lot of time to add overall physicality. Primary position C, starting a bit high and offset as he works around the ball to throw. Two-hand receiving style with a clean, midline transfer and appropriately short arm-action. Showed accuracy on throws up to 64 mph with a pop-time best 2.22 seconds. RHH using a wider stance and open base, getting into his legs from the start. Lower hand-set and toe-tap trigger as he gets off his backside. Lofted stroke with a middle of the field stroke and strong impact when on time. Good power projection with the strength in hands and feel for barrel to justify launch angle. Very early in his career with the actions to be a high level offensive catcher long term.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
