Blake Bunda is a 2028 IF/1B, 3B with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Pocahontas, IA who attends Pocahontas Area. Recorded a 8.39 second sixty yard dash time. Primary infielder who also worked out at first base, presents the glove early and utilizes a short and compact arm action with a tight release from the ear. Shows developing arm strength and accuracy across the diamond. Fields out front with two hands, showed good, quick turns at first base and gets the ball out with urgency. Footwork and range will continue to improve as he grows and gets stronger. Right-handed hitter with an open stance and a small lift and replace trigger. Has a slight hitch in the hand load, bat gets vertical at launch and displays an uphill bat path. Tended to be late in this look and struggled to get the barrel out front. Bat speed and barrel control will continue to improve with strength and maturity.
