Henry Verhamme is a 2026 SS/RHP/3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Cactus Shadows. Medium athletic build. Right handed hitter, starts from a high hand load and a straight stance, stays short and direct to the ball, showed barrel control both in batting practice and the games, hit the ball hard to all fields, balanced and well controlled approach that will benefit him as he continues to get stronger. Primary shortstop on defense, has good foot quickness and moves well to both sides, gets the glove down early, solid arm strength across the diamond. Also pitched, has a rotational rock back and fire type delivery with a mid 3/4's arm slot, lands open out front. Fastball topped out at 86 mph with occasional running life, showed good feel for his change up and deadened the spin on it well, also threw a short slider and threw strikes with all three pitches. Good student.
