William Mijares is a 2024 OF with a 5-11 195 lb. frame from London, ON. Medium, athletic frame with present strength proportioned throughout and some additional room to fill moving forward. Ran a 7.20 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, plays back on the ball, takes shorter steps on the approach and fields it cleanly out front, repeats actions, pulls it down well into release and shows some present arm strength and carry to the intended base while showing accuracy, can get some additional momentum on the approach. Right-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance with a high hand set and back elbow, slight barrel tilt at start; shifts weight well through lower half moving into contact. Incorporates physical strength well into swing and generates nice present bat speed through the zone; heavy barrel at the point of contact and ball jumps off well, comfort turning on the ball, will occasionally get to front side early but shows leverage out front at the ball.
