Chase Petersen is a 2025 OF/ with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Northbrook, IL who attends Glenbrook North. Medium frame with athletic, strong build; ran 40 yard dash in 4.97 seconds. Hits from pre-loaded stance, deep barrel wrap over head, stays connected well through stroke, turns barrel with authority and bat speed, gets the head out front and creates good contact zone, consistent hard contact with feel for working towards both gaps. Worked out in the outfield, quick feet, athleticism to movements, fields cleanly and works through the ball, length to arm stroke, clocked up to 85 mph on throws. Very good student, named to 2023 Chicago Indoor Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
