Brett Slymen is a 2026 RHP/OF with a 6-4 180 lb. frame from Aliso Viejo, CA who attends Capistrano Valley Christian Schools. Nice young pitcher's build with lots of physical projectability. Has a timing intensive delivery with a deep arm takeaway in back, comes around for a straight over the top arm slot, pulls down hard with his front side, has some energy in his release. Fastball worked in the mid 80's and topped out at 87 mph, big downhill angle when his arm is on time and the ball is down in the zone. Slider was his best pitch this outing, was consistent with the release and gets some two-plane depth to the pitch. Is athletic enough to make adjustments when he lapses into vertical command issues. Interesting follow. Good student.
