Massimo Falconi is a 2026 SS/2B with a 5-6 140 lb. frame from Canonsburg, PA who attends Canon-Mcmillan. Young, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean build, room to fill throughout and grow moving forward. Ran a 7.43 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, takes an extra step working through the ball but shows quickness to footwork, comes through the backhand nicely, clean funnel out front into a shorter arm action, shows accuracy on throws across the diamond, repeats overall actions well. Right-handed hitter, begins with a spread and wide base in the box with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; limited shift through lower half and can continue to incorporate weight shift with shortened approach. Full swing path through the zone and works on a linear plane, shows a feel for the barrel and repeats stroke well. Line drive carry coming off, contact oriented approach with middle and pull side contact. Projects with added strength. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
