2023 Perfect Game Winter Dominican Republic Showcase
Christian Carbuccia is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 6-4 215 lb. frame from Ensanche Piantini, SD who attends Carol Morgan School. Recorded a 7.72 second 60-yard dash time. Extra large frame with some strength present. Primary right-handed pitcher with extra movements to delivery. Good rhythm with a longer arm swing and a higher arm slot. Gathers over the rubber nicely and the fastball has some natural sink to it. Lots of comfort going to the breaking ball. Flashed a changeup. Three pitch mix and did a nice job competing in the zone. Arm strength plays from secondary position of the outfield. Right-handed hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and some strength at contact. Downward attack angle and brings the bat head directly to the ball. Power oriented approach with good carry and backspin off the bat. Great student.
