Matthew Hargreaves is a 2025 RHP/1B with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Woodstock, GA who attends Kell. Tall frame with square shoulders and strong build. Primary right-handed pitcher, works from the stretch only, controlled down the mound. Short arm action to a three-quarters arm slot. Fairly low effort operation, fastball heavy diet, goes right after hitters, getting ahead early and often. Fastball up to 73 mph (1740 RPM). Left-handed hitter, closed off stance, works hard to get the barrel inside the baseball, mostly middle and opposite field contact, round bat path. As he gets stronger, should swing with more intent and more jump off the barrel. Secondary first baseman, footwork is clean and hands work out front. Gets rid of the ball quickly, shorter arm action, solid understanding of an internal clock, developing arm strength and accuracy. Made all the plays up the middle. Recorded throws across up to 65 mph. Recorded a 7.61 60-yard dash. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
