Braden Griffin is a 2026 RHP/3B/IF with a 6-0 147 lb. frame from Thomasville, GA who attends Thomas County Central. Tall and thin frame with a high waist, levers have room to add more in both halves. Ran a 7.55 60-yard dash Primary right-handed pitcher, submarine delivery with low slot release, stretch only with preset back knee, looks comfortable from down under with feel to spin it and land mix for strikes. Fastball up to 70-mph with substantial run and sink, nightmare at bat for right-handed hitters in game with consistent control to the inner half of the zone, sweeping slider in the low 60's mixed in with lots of feel and comfort for an out pitch, good idea of sequencing the fastball before sweeping away with the slider for strikeouts, very intriguing components on the bump. Secondary infielder, worked out front well and fielded reps cleanly, high slot from the left side of the infield, more deliberate footwork and stationary setup working with grounders. Right-handed hitter, very wide base with big hand move into separation, got mistimed on occasion, good impact when timed up and out front just needs to find it there more. Good body, projects on the bump well given current feel to pitch from unique slot and delivery with additional strength to frame.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
