2022 Northern California Prospect Showcase
Taylor Badger is a 2023 2B/ with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Los Gatos, CA who attends IMG Academy. Medium build that showed from multiple positions, in the infield he demonstrated an ability to make the routine play, not the swiftest laterally but made the plays and delivered accurate throws across. In the outfield, showed a bit more comfortably with sound footwork and glove technique that produced strong accurate throws to both third and home. At the dish, he sets up with a wide stance and creates separation and rhythm with a toe tap timing load with calm pre pitch movements. He generates above average bat speed on deep lofted barrels to pull side. There's definitely some strength in the hands at impact with ability to do damage to middle to pull side. 7.55 60-yard. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
