Jack Sumner is a 2024 RHP/2B, 3B with a 5-11 140 lb. frame from Brooklyn, CT who attends Woodstock Academy. Projectable, high waisted frame with long levers and plenty of room to fill out. Recorded a 8.05 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary right-handed pitcher that worked from a full windup delivery with a slightly coiled leg lift and medium stride down the slope. Fastball worked in the low-to-mid 70s for the majority of his outing from a higher three-quarters arm slot. Around the zone with all three-pitches and will certainly add velocity as he continues to physically mature. Mixed in slurve shaped breaking and developing changeup as his go-to secondary options. Will continue to improve with proper mechanical adjustments and additional velocity. Secondary infielder with a developing defensive skill set. Implores aggressive footwork to round the baseball, fields cleanly with a slightly deep funnel and maintains some momentum into release. Recorded arm strength up to 70 mph across the diamond during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from an upright, even base with a high hand set, high back elbow and toe-tap trigger. Incorporates rotational lower half mechanics, an inside hand path and developing bat-to-ball skills. Elongated swing path with best impact to the middle and opposite field. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
