Ian Palumbo is a 2028 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from Phoenix, AZ who attends Brophy College Preparatory. Compact build with good length to both halves that can fill out. Ran a 7.85 in the 60-yard dash. Left-handed pitcher, traditional over-the-head lineup with lower leg kick into a mid three-quarter slot. Good length post foot strike. Fastball and curveball mixed well with big loopy depth to the breaker. Has components that can develop on the hill. Also showed a clean arm in outfield drills. Good funnel and stays square while letting the arm action work. Left-handed hitter, upright and narrow base. Looks to work to the pull side with developing strength at impact. Has feel and rhythm in the box for the age. Named to Top Prospect list.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
