Cael Rivera is a 2026 2B/RHP, SS, MIF, OF, UT with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Ridgecrest, CA who attends Burroughs. Features a solid frame that is well proportioned with longer limbs. Ran a 7.65 60-yd dash. In the OF, he showed an athletic approach to start that maintained through reception that created momentum into throws. Used a longer arm action that produced uphill throws. In the INF, he showed raw actions. Has active feet that play through the baseball. Shortened up the arm action and made accurate throws across. At the plate, he sits in a balanced stance that holds a flatter bat. His lower-half trigger is real simple where he gets his foot down early with minimal hand/barrel load. Balanced swing where his strong hands work the barrel on an uphill path. Inconsistent barrels but flashed some quality impact to the pulllside. On the mound, he side steps into a mid chest knee lift. Slight drop into his backleg as his arm works longer out the glove and to release at a H ¾ slot. Lands in-line and finishes hard. His fastball worked up to 78 where he showed solid gloveside command of it. Mixed in a slurvy breaking ball that he had a tendency to pull off of. Also flashed a low spin changeup in the low 70s that has some upside. Was named to Top Prospects list.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
